Family Restrooms

I never realized how important and awesome family restrooms are until I became a mom. Granted you're not allowed in unless you have a kid so I never had the opportunity to go into one before. I was at The Village in Topanga with a friend when we decided to use the family restroom to breastfeed. Being a new mom, I was still self conscious about breastfeeding in public. The restrooms had private areas with cushioned chairs for moms to breastfeed in! There was also a play area for kids and separate areas with parent and kid size toilets and sinks. And everything was so clean. I really appreciated all of this since my baby is still getting the hang of breastfeeding so it takes us awhile to set up.

Shout out to all the parents out there. It's true what they say, parenting is hard work. You're all doing an amazing job.
